Plano-Concave Cylinder Lens has a negative focal length and are used for image reduction or to spread light. Plano-Convex Cylindrical lens has a positive focal length, plano-convex cylindrical lens is available in circular and rectangular versions, along with multiple coating options. Cylindrical lens is ideal for line projection in machine vision applications or guidance systems.Some styles of cylindrical lens has anti reflective coatings to increase the transmission of light through the cylindrical lens. Fused silica cylindrical are ideal for demanding laser machining and medical applications.
